INSPIRE Scholarship 2024-25

The INSPIRE Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) is a program run by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) under the Government of India. INSPIRE Scholarship 2024 – Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the SHE (Scholarship for Higher Education), students must have passed Class 12 and be studying Natural Sciences at the B.Sc. or Integrated M.Sc. level. Below is the eligibility information for this scholarship.

• The student should be between 17 and 22 years old.
• The candidate must be in the top 1% of students in terms of total marks in their Class 12 board exam.
• They should be enrolled in Natural or Basic Sciences courses (B.Sc., BS, or Integrated M.Sc./MS) in the same year they passed Class 12.
• Those who rank among the top 10,000 in the IIT-JEE, top 20,000 in AIEEE, or have passed the CBSE-Medical (AIPMT) and chosen Natural/Basic Sciences are also eligible.
• Candidates admitted to institutes like IISER, NISER, or DAE-CBS at Mumbai University for B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Natural/Basic Sciences are eligible.
• Students who are KVPY scholars, NTSE, Olympiad winners, or JBNSTS scholars pursuing B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Natural/Basic Sciences can apply.

List of Important Documents of INSPIRE Scholarship 2024

• A passport-size photo of the applicant (JPEG format, size not more than 50 KB).
• Caste or community certificate for OBC/SC/ST category applicants (PDF format, size not more than 1 MB).
• Eligibility or advisory note from the State/Central Board, if available (PDF format, size not more than 1 MB).
• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets (PDF format, size not more than 1 MB).
• Certificate showing rank or award in JEE (Main), JEE (Advanced), NEET, KVPY, JBNSTS, NTSE, or International Olympiad Medal (if applicable) (PDF format, size not more than 1 MB).
• Endorsement Form signed by the College Principal, Institute Director, or University Registrar (PDF format, size not more than 1 MB).
• The first page of the applicant’s SBI bank passbook (PDF format, size not more than 1 MB).

Inspire SHE 2024 Application Form

The online registration for Inspire SHE 2024 began on September 1, 2024. Only online applications are accepted—no offline submissions are allowed. Make sure to complete the form fully, as incomplete applications will be rejected, and no changes will be allowed afterward. The deadline for submitting applications is October 15, 2024.

Please be careful when filling out the form, as corrections might not be possible. Along with the application, you need to submit the following documents:

• 12th grade mark sheets or pass certificate
• 10th grade mark sheets or pass certificate
• Endorsement certificate in the required format
• Advisory or eligibility notes
• Certificate of rank or award from JEE Main, JEE Advanced, NEET, KVPY, NTSE, JBNSTS, or any international Olympic medals.

How to Register for Inspire SHE 2024?

• Go to the website (link is provided here).
• Click on “New User Registration” to sign up.
• Fill out the form with your name, email, date of birth, and verification code.
• Before filling out the application, scan and save your documents (like your photo and class 10/12 mark sheets).
• Log in with your username and password.
• Click on “Scholarship” and then select “Apply for Scholarship.”
• Next, upload your documents (10th/12th mark sheets, certificates, etc.).
• Check your details and continue.
• Choose your board (state or central) from the drop-down menu.
• Click “YES” or “NO” to indicate if you have any other scholarships.
• Submit your application and print the form for future reference.
