The NEET 2024 question papers were made available by the NTA starting May 5, 2024, which was the exam day. These question papers had four main codes: Q, R, S, and T. For the NEET re-exam, the question papers were labeled as A, B, C, and D.
Each set was further divided into six subsets, resulting in a total of 24 question papers. The re-exam for NEET 2024 took place on June 23, 2024, for 1,563 candidates, out of which 813 candidates actually appeared for the test. The question papers for the re-exam were given to these candidates, and some of them were awarded grace marks.
Students planning to take NEET 2025 are advised to practice with previous years' NEET question papers. However, they should skip questions that are not part of the current syllabus.
The revised final answer key for the original NEET 2024 exam was issued by the NTA on July 26, 2024, as per the Supreme Court’s decision. Earlier, the final answer key had marked two options as correct for one Physics question. After revision, only option 4 was considered the correct answer for that question.
During the Supreme Court hearings regarding NEET 2024, the IIT Delhi Committee reviewed the disputed Physics question. It concluded that the two options were not valid together and only option 4 was correct. Based on this, the court suggested removing bonus marks and giving full marks only to those who selected option 4. Negative marking was applied to candidates who chose any other options.
For the NEET 2024 re-exam held on June 23, 2024, the NTA released the provisional answer key and OMR sheets on June 28, 2024. Candidates could submit challenges to the answer key until June 29, 2024, at 11 PM. The final answer key for the re-exam was published on June 30, 2024, just before the results were declared on July 1, 2024.
The NEET 2024 question paper was moderate, with a mix of easy, moderate, and tough questions. Subjects like Biology were simpler compared to Physics and Chemistry.
The difficulty level of NEET 2024 depends on preparation. With proper study and practice, the exam can feel manageable.
