The Indian Air Force and Doordarshan have partnered to provide a new feature to the broadcast of the Republic Day celebrations. For the first time, there will be a live stream from cameras in some of the 75 aircraft from the three services that will take part in this year’s greatest flypast, providing the pilot’s view and cockpit’s view.

On the ground, national broadcaster Doordarshan will cover the 2023 Republic Day procession with 59 cameras, including one mounted on the dome of the Rashtrapati Bhavan, according to news agency PTI. According to a statement from the Information and Broadcasting Ministry, two 360-degree cameras have been erected, one on Rajpath and the other on the top of the India Gate. It added that visuals from both 360-degree cameras — which provide a bird’s eye perspective of the ceremony — will be continually live-streamed on the DD National YouTube channel through two different streams.

From 9.15 a.m. on January 26 to the end of the events at Rajpath, you can watch the live coverage on all Doordarshan channels across India. The DD National and DD News YouTube channels, as well as the NewsOnAir app and website, will provide live coverage.
