What is the meaning of Aardvark?

The aardvark is a medium-sized, burrowing, nocturnal mammal native to Africa. The name aardvark means “earth pig” in Afrikaans. It is the only living species of the family Orycteropodidae.

Conservation of Aardvark

Aardvarks, also known as anteaters, are mammals that belong to the family of Tenrecidae. They are the only living species in the genus Orycteropus. They are found in Africa and live in burrows.
