Quokka: The Cute Australian Wallaby
The quokka is a small, herbivorous marsupial that is found in Western Australia. It is the only member of the genus Setonix. Quokkas are about the size of a domestic cat and weigh between 2 and 4 kilograms. They have a thick, brown coat of fur and a long, bushy tail. They are nocturnal animals and spend most of the day sleeping in dense vegetation. At night, they forage for food, eating leaves, flowers, and fruits. Quokkas are very tame and will often approach humans in search of food. They are also known for their smiley face.
