3 Tips to Master Any Subject

We all get knowledge from different places and everybody has a unique way of learning. There are four types of learners: visual learners, auditory learners, reading learners, and writing learners. Visual learners are able to learn better from pictures, videos, and forms of visual communication. The auditory learners find learning easily from reading and specifically when they read aloud and by listening to their own voice. Reading and writing learners learn better with the help of activities like reading or writing for example by writing essays, notes, or by reading books, notes.

Some tips are given below that will help you to master any subject:

    Adaptive Practice

It is proven time by time that practice is the best way to master any concept. But mostly students get discouraged when they get to know that most of their answers are wrong during the practice. This happens when the initial questions they solve are of a high difficulty level and their current level of understanding of the concept is not satisfied for this.

The right way to practice is by adaptive tests. The adaptive tests mean the test that first gives easy and simple questions. Take an example of a game that has easy levels at the beginning.

The adaptive tests start with beginner-level questions. Students will come across harder questions as they progress through the test. And whenever a student gets stuck on a question, they will get a hint. By learning this way students can master the entire concept by the time they complete this type of test.

By solving previous years question papers

A common mistake that students make is to keep solving previous year’s question papers for the last. The method will be to first finish studying the entire syllabus and then practice solving at least three of last year’s question papers. By this, you will identify questions and concepts that are most repeatedly asked and you will get to know your weak concepts.

Also, try to revise these concepts you are weak in and try to clear them before exams. Also, take a note of the timings in which you are able to solve the papers and if you are taking more time then try to take the minimum time possible to solve the paper so in the remaining time you can go through the paper once again to check whether there is any mistake. By this method, you will get trained on writing well even under pressure.

    By the customized tests

You get mixed questions of all syllabi when you practice questions from books and learning websites. But if you try to create your own tests for questions from only those chapters on which you want to work you can save time.

Try to create a custom test only on questions from chapters you find difficult or in which you are weak. By practicing more and more tests there is a visible improvement in your score. Also, don’t forget to cover the concepts you are strong in to make sure that you will solve those questions without any mistakes.
