When placing equation (2) in equation (1), we get,

Resistance (R) = Voltage × Current^{-1}

Or, **R = (M ^{1}. L^{2}. T^{-3}. I^{-1}) * (I)^{-1} = (M^{1}. L^{2}. T^{-3}. I^{-2})**

Thus, the resistance is dimensionally written as M. L^{2}. T^{-3}. I^{-2}.

**Factors affecting resistance: **

- Resistance is dependent on the length of the conductor.
- The conductor’s cross-sectional area.
- It is affected by the conductor’s material but is unaffected by the conductor’s geometry.
- This same resistance of the conductor is affected by its temperature.
