JCECE Counselling 2019: The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) offers admission into various institutions in the state of Jharkhand. It is a state-level entrance exam which is organized by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB). Candidates can get admission in the first year of Agriculture, Forestry, B.V.Sc. and A.H. Degree courses.
The counseling will be in the month of July 2019. It will be conducted in offline mode by the JCECE board. Students will be called for counseling based on their performance in the entrance exam. The procedure involves multiple stages, including fee payment and document verification.

JCECE Counselling 2019 Venue

JCECE Counselling Procedure 2019
The counselling process will be held in 3 – 4 rounds and the candidates will be allotted dates based on their ranks in the merit list. You will not be sent an official invitation via SMS or otherwise for the same. You will have to check the counselling schedule on the official website (link is given above) and report on time at the venue if you are eligible.
You can check the number of vacancies available on the official website. During the Interview round, you will be allowed to choose your top preferred colleges and courses and if there are any vacancies seats will be allotted to you. If you are dissatisfied with the seat allotted to you, you can opt for seat upgradation in the subsequent rounds. Note that if the seat is not upgraded in the subsequent round, the original allotment will be considered final.
The seat allotment process will continue until all seats are filled and as many required rounds of counselling will be held.
You need to confirm your seat by paying the seat acceptance fees of INR 1000 drawn in favour of Controller of Examination, JCECEB, payable at Ranchi. The final step before admissions is document verification.
JCECE Counselling 2019 – Documents required for verification
You need to bring the original and two photocopies of the following documents:
- JCECE 2019 Admit card
- 10th & 12th Admit card
- 10th & 12th Marks card
- 10th & 12th Passing Certificate
- Domicile certificate issued by the sub-divisional officer of deputy commissioner
- Caste Certificate (if you are expecting reserve category benefit)
- Physically handicapped certificate issued by the medical officer (if applicable)
- One copy of passport size photograph
JCECE Counselling Fee 2019
You will have to pay a counselling fee to participate in the procedure. The fee for different categories is as given:

JCECE Counselling General Instructions
- School/College leaving certificate is not required at the time of JCECE Counselling. However, it will be required at the time of admission.
- In case a successful candidate appears as per merit ranking but forgets to produce required set of documents and then appears for the next round then they can opt for admission in only available seat/branch/ institute.
- Before allotment of seats, original certificates and identity will be verified.
- Legal actions will be taken against the candidates found false/improper identity/duplicate certificates.
- The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of marks obtained in JCECE. There is no guarantee of admission of candidates included in the advertisement merit list for counselling.
- The vacant seats will be displayed daily on the Board’s website during JCECE counselling.

The data allotment will be based on your rank in the merit list. During the interview round, you can opt for any seat and it will be allotted to you, if available.
