    The NEET 2020 application form will be released on the 1st week of November 2020 and the last date to submit the NEET 2020 application form was on 31st December 2020. So the aspirants who wanted to secure a Medical Seat must appear for the NEET exam and get qualifying marks in the examination.     NEET Eligibility Criteria

    The eligibility criteria for NEET 2020 are listed below:

    • Nationality: Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs & Foreign Nationals.
    • Educational Qualification: Students must have opted for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Biotechnology in Class 11 & 12 from a recognized board or university.
    • Age Limit: The minimum age limit of the candidates must be 17 years as on 31st December 2018.
    • Pass Percentage: General candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% whereas the rest of the candidates should have obtained 40% in the examination.

    Candidates must follow the 5 step process in order to register themselves successfully for the NEET 2020 exam and the 5 step registration process is listed below:

    Step – 1: NEET 2020 Registration

    All candidates who wish to appear for the medical examination must register themselves with the official website that is ntaneet.nic.in. In order to register candidates must have entered the following details:

    • Name
    • Parents Names
    • Mobile No
    • Email ID
    • Category
    • Date of birth
    • Nationality
    • Identification type and number
    • Disabilities

    After entering the above details, the candidate must click on the register button and shortly candidate will receive the OTP number to the registration number or email id. Now enter the OTP number and you will receive the login credentials for further process.

    Step – 2: How To Fill The NEET 2020 Application Form?

    Candidates must now log in with the help of their credentials and click on the link NEET 2020 Application Form. Students must fill all the necessary details in the application form.

    Step – 3: Review the NEET 2020 Application

    Now check all the details in the NEET 2020 Application form such as nationality, exam centers and medium of the exam and finally submit the NEET 2020 Application Form.

    Step – 4: Upload the Photograph & Signature

    Candidates must upload their photographs with a white background mentioning their name and date below the photograph. Candidates must upload their signature with the white background and it is also necessary for the candidates to upload their right-hand impression.

    Step – 5: Process the NEET 2020 Fee Payment

    Candidates must process the fee payment and the NEET 2020 application fee can be paid through Debit/ Credit Card, Net Banking, E-Wallets of different service providers or through Offline Mode-Via challan. The NEET 2020 application fee will vary based on the candidate’s category and the NEET 2020 application fee based on candidates category is tabulated below:

    • The mode of the exam will be offline that is pen-paper based mode.

    Formula To Calculate NEET 2020 Marks

    Follow the steps as below to calculate NEET 2020 Marks:

    • For every correct answer, 4 marks are awarded.
    • For marking incorrect option, -1 is deducted.
    • No mark is deducted for un-attempted questions and marking more than 1 option.
    • Total Marks = 180 MCQs X 4 = 720 Marks

    NEET Counselling 2020

    On behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), DGHS will conduct NEET counselling 2020 tentatively in the second week of June. In order to participate in the NEET 2020 Counselling, the candidates must register themselves in the online mode. This NEET counselling 2020 will be conducted in 2 rounds for the 15% of the total seats of all the government colleges (except for colleges of Jammu and Kashmir state) also known as 15% All India Quota seats that are

    • Seats reserved for Wards of Insured Persons (IP quota) in Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) medical colleges and
    • Seats available at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune.
