The National Testing Agency, NTA, stated that it will soon announce the NEET UG 2023 examination date. The NEET UG counselling 2022 is underway. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a national-level entrance examination for admission to MBBS, BDS, and Ayush courses in India. NEET is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
- NEET 2023 will be a computer-based test (CBT). The test will be of three hours duration and will consist of 180 objective-type questions. The questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology).
- The NEET syllabus will be based on CBSE’s 11th and 12th standard Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology) curriculum. The NEET question paper will be in English and Hindi.
NEET 2023 Exam Marking
- The NEET 2023 exam will have negative markings. One-fourth (1/4) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted for each wrong answer. There will be no negative marking for unattempted questions.
NEET 2023 Application Form
- The NEET 2023 application form will be available online on the NTA website.
- Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 1400/- (for general category candidates) and Rs. 750/- (for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
Candidates who qualify for the NEET 2023 exam will be eligible for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in all medical and dental colleges in India.
Candidates who qualify for the NEET 2023 exam will also be eligible for admission to Ayush courses (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS, and BNYS) in all Ayush colleges in India.

Following are the steps candidates need to follow to apply to NEET UG 2023:
- Visit the official website NEET NTA.
- Click on the link that says “NEET UG 2023 Registration Link” on the homepage.
- You’ll need to enter your login credentials and other information to log in.
- Apply by paying the application fee and providing other details
- Ensure that all the necessary documents are uploaded
- Then click the submit button.
