SVNIRTAR CET Results 2019: Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research (SVNIRTAR) is an Autonomous body under Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DIVYANGJAN), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India. It provides total medical rehabilitation for Persons with Locomotor Disabilities.

It also conducts three Bachelor Degree courses in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Prosthetics and Orthotics, three Postgraduate courses of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Prosthetics and Orthotics affiliated to Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. It also has an accreditation for DNB in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation of National Board of Examination (NBE), New Delhi.

The institute conducts the common entrance test (CET) every year for admission into the undergraduate courses. Read on to find out more.

SVNIRTAR CET Result – Merit list

The merit list will be made based on the marks obtained in the CET by the candidate. In case two candidates obtain the same score, the below criteria will be used to break the tie, in the given order

The candidates getting higher marks for Biology/ Mathematics in CET-19 shall rank higher in the merit list.
The candidates securing higher marks in Chemistry in CET-19 shall
rank higher.
The candidate getting higher marks in Physics in CET-19 shall rank higher.
The candidate getting higher marks in 10+2 shall rank higher.
The candidate elder in age shall rank higher.

How To Check Results of SVNIRTAR CET 2019?

The results will be declared on 19th July 2019 at 11 AM. It was declared in the form of a merit list on the official website. You can check your results by following the below given steps

Visit the Official SVNIRTAR CET website (link is given above).
Under the “What’s new” section, click on the “CET 2019 results” link.
It will open the merit list PDF for CET 2019 in the order of rank.
Use the keyboard shortcut “Ctrl + F” to search for your name on the list. You will be able to see your common rank and your category rank.

If you wish to view the merit list in the order of names listed alphabetically instead, you can follow the below steps

Visit the official website (link is given above).
Scroll down and click on the “COMMON ENTRANCE TEST 2019 (CET-2019)” link at the bottom of the page.
A new page will open.
Click on the “CET-2019 Result as per Name – Alphabetically” link.
You will now be able to view the merit list of candidates listed in alphabetical order of their names.
Use the keyboard shortcut “Ctrl + F” to search for your name on the list. You will be able to see your common rank and your category rank.

SVNIRTAR CET Counselling Schedule 2019

The schedule for 1st counseling is as given below

SVNIRTAR CET Result – Counselling Procedure 2019

The first counselling for admission shall be held from 23 to 26.07.2019 at reporting time 09.00 am at National Institute for Locomotor Disabilities (NILD), Bonhooghly, Kolkata – 700 090 (WestBengal). The candidate will have to secure the seat on the same day after counselling by depositing the admission fees. Note that if you do not report in person at the allotted date and time, your seat will be forfeited. The counseling will proceed as given below

The candidates will be called in the order of merit.
When you get called, you will be offered the seat and Institute available/vacant at your turn. You will have to select a course and institute from the available seats given to you.
You will have to provide the following documents, in original along with 2 photocopies, for document verification:
1. Original Admit Card of CET-2019 and Counselling letter.
2. Date of birth (Secondary School/Matriculation Certificate/Admit Card) issued by the affiliating board.
3. Certificate and mark sheet of the qualifying examination issued by the Board/University.
4. Conduct and Character Certificate from the head of the Institution from where the qualifying examination was passed or from the principal of the college/school where the candidate has studied last.
5. Certificate of medical fitness to be signed by a Govt. Medical Officer as per the format is given on the official website.
6. SC/ST certificate or Physically Handicapped certificate from appropriate authorities on the basis of which reservation is claimed. The concerned Institute may constitute a medical board to assess disability/eligibility of the candidate to pursue the said course. No SEBC certificate will be accepted.
7. OBC certificate (Non-Creamy layer) issued in Govt. of India format only within one year as on date of counselling will be accepted.
8. Migration certificate in original form the respective regular School/university where he/she has studied last to be submitted as per the requirement of University.
9. Nationality/Domicile or Residence Certificate issued by Competent Authority.
10. Gap year certificate, if applicable.
A candidate who is allotted a seat shall be admitted provisionally. To confirm the seat, you will have to pay the course fee of ₹44, 000 excluding hostel fees in the form of Demand Draft. The Demand draft should be made in favor of “National Institute for Orthopaedically Handicapped” payable at “Kolkata”.
You can pay the hostel fees later, after the allotment of a hostel in the allotted institute.

SVNIRTAR CET Result Second Counselling

In case there are any vacancies remaining after the first counselling, a second counselling will be conducted. Candidates will again be called in the order of merit. You can also opt for transfer from one institute to another institute or one course to another course in the same institute during the second counselling. If you do so, the fee and deposit paid earlier will be adjusted/transferred as per rules.

The results for SVNIRTAR CET 2019 will be declared on 19th July 2019 in the form of a merit list. The candidate can check their results from the merit list on the official website. They will then be eligible to attend the counselling procedure to be held from 23rd to 26th July 2019 (The detailed schedule is given in the article above). To confirm the seat offered to them, they will have to pay the admission fee of ₹44,000 on the same day as the counselling.
