- What’s Next?
In the previous segment, we learnt about Supplementary and Vertically Opposite angles. In this segment, we will learn about Intersecting lines.
What are Intersecting lines?
Two lines that meet each other are called intersecting lines.
Properties of intersecting lines
- Two intersecting lines always meet at a single point. For example, lines m and n intersect at point P.
- No matter how they meet, a pair of intersecting lines form exactly one plane
Here are two pairs of intersecting lines. Lines a and b intersect to form plane X and lines c and d intersect to form place Y.
