Q. In a rhombus ABCD, the length of the diagonal AC is 6 cm and the length of the diagonal BD is 8 cm. Find the length of the sides.

Fig 1 Solution:

AC = 6 cm

Diagonals of a rhombus bisect each other.

∴ AO = CO = 3 cm

BD = 8 cm

Diagonals of a rhombus bisect each other.

∴ BO = DO = 4 cm

Diagonals of a rhombus are perpendicular to each other

∴ m∠AOB = 90°
