Introduction to Hexadecimal and Binary system
The hexadecimal (hex) numbering system is base 16, meaning that there are 16 different digits, 0-9 and A-F. In the hex system, each digit represents a number from 0-15. For example, the hex number A7 represents the number 107 (1*16^3 + 7*16^2).
The binary (bin) numbering system is base 2, meaning that there are only two different digits, 0 and 1. In the bin system, each digit represents a number from 0-1. For example, the bin number 1101 represents the number 13 (1*2^3 + 1*2^2).
Binary Number System
Binary number system is a number system that uses only two digits, 0 and 1. In binary, every number is represented by a combination of 0s and 1s. For example, the number 12 can be represented as:
1
0
1
The number 12 can also be represented as:
1100

OTTAWA – The RCMP says it is investigating a possible breach of the Privacy Act after the personal information of nearly 800,000 people was shared with the wrong party.
In a statement, the national police force says it learned last week that the personal information of 774,000 individuals was shared with the incorrect party.
The RCMP did not say who the incorrect party was, but added that it is taking steps to ensure the information is secure and that the privacy of the individuals involved is protected.
