What is Percentage?

    Percentage Meaning

    Percentage is a number that represents a part of a whole. It is usually expressed as a fraction, with the numerator (top number) representing the number of parts and the denominator (bottom number) representing the total number of parts. For example, if there are ten students in a classroom and 30 candy bars, the percentage of students who received candy bars is 10/30, or 33%.

    This percentage trick is a great way to find a percentage of a number.

    To use the trick, simply multiply the number by the percentage you want to find, and then divide by 100.
