Solution: Let x is the cost of  pure wine.  Then the cost of  resultant mixture $x+25%\text{\hspace{0.17em}\hspace{0.17em}}of\text{\hspace{0.17em}\hspace{0.17em}}x=50$

$⇒100x+25x=50×100$

$⇒x=\frac{5000}{125}=40$

So wine of  Rs 40 (CP) sold at Rs 50 (SP)

Now in Rs 60 per litres wine

So in 40 =$\frac{40}{60}=\frac{2}{3}$part wine remaining $=\frac{1}{3}$water

Ratio of water : wine = $\frac{1}{3}:\frac{2}{3}=1:2$
