            If we keep the nails in test tube A, they won't rust. Because there is no oxygen in boiled water and only a small layer of oil protects the nails from air oxygen. So the test tube A's nails don't rust.
            In test tube B, nails do not rust either because soda-lime removes any rust that may be present. In such a case, test tube B's nails are secure.
            Because the tap water contains dissolved oxygen, test tube C's nails will rust. The iron in nails then reacts with the dissolved oxygen. The nails in test tube C will then corrode as a result.
