A
Use of EVMs
B
Model Code of Conduct
C
Independent Election Commission
D
None of the above
Solution:
An independent Election Commission can be used to counter problems like the U.S.A. following different systems of vote counting in its different states. Having different systems of counting votes and overlooking the election process by several bodies can lead to massive chaos. A uniform election system is more desirable. For this to occur, it is essential for an independent central body whose work is to conduct elections. The Election Commission does this in India. If all the states follow different rules, biases might creep in, and there would be subjectivity to favour specific candidates.
