Rock bits, minerals and iron oxides form the B horizon.A horizon, also called topsoil contains most of the nutrients. The layer beneath the A horizon has a lesser amount of humus but has more minerals present in it which is known as the B horizon. The layer below it is the C layer and is made up of lumps of rocks along with cracks in crevices. Below this layer is the bedrock.
