    Solution:

    The above statement is true.
HVJ, an acronym for Hazira-Vijaipur-Jagdishpur, is India's first interstate gas pipeline. The project started in 1986 after  GAIL (India) Limited was founded to supply gas to fertiliser plants in  Uttar Pradesh. The project's first phase, consisting of an unbranched 1,750-kilometre network, began in 1987. Later, additional branch lines were added to the system to supply industrial and residential gas in  Rajasthan, Haryana, and NCT, bringing the total network length to 3,474 km. Branch offices are located in Kota, Rajasthan, Shah Jahanpur, Babrala, and elsewhere in Uttar Pradesh.
