    Solution:

    The above statement is true.
The Golden Quadrilateral Super Highway is a national network connecting four major industrial and cultural cities: India, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata. It is also named because it becomes a square when four points are connected. It meets the requirements of the fast movement of the traffic.
The main goal of this project was to create a super highway to reduce the distance and time of roads running between cities. This is the 5th longest highway in the world and the largest project in India. This project is managed by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) under the Ministry of Roads, Highways, and Transport.  The project has four sections.
    1)      Section 1 runs from Delhi to Kolkata, through Haryana, UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal and includes major state cities such as Agra, Kanpur, and Allahabad. The length is 1454 km.
    2)      Section 2 is 1684 km from Kolkata to Chennai. It consists of NH6  Kolkata to Kharagpur, NH60  Kharagpur to Balasore, and NH5  Balasore to Chennai, passing through  West Bengal, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.  3)      Section 3 is 1290 km long and runs from Chennai to Mumbai via Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.
The last section 4 is 1419 km long and extends between Mumbai and Chennai. This includes NH 8  Delhi to Kishangarh, NH 79A Ajmer Bypass, NH 79  Nasirabad to Chitrugar, NH 76 Chitrakar to Udaipur, passing through  Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, and New Delhi. The project plan was completed in 1999, started in 2001, and finished in 2012. The estimated investment cost is  308.58 crore rupees.
