    Solution:

Ramanuja, born in Tamil Nadu in the eleventh century, was deeply influenced by the Alvars.
He believed the best path to salvation was through fervent devotion to Vishnu. In His grace, Vishnu helps the devotee to attain the bliss of union with Him. He put forward the doctrine of Vishishtadvaita or qualified oneness, in that the soul, even when united with the Supreme God, remained distinct. Subsequently developed in north India, Ramanuja’s doctrine greatly inspired the new strand of bhakti. The epistemic importance of bhakti, or devotion to a personal God as means of spiritual liberation, was presented by Ramanuja.
