A
Industry controlled by workers.
B
Demand for Peace.
C
Both of the above.
D
None of the above.
Solution:
Following the 1917 October Revolution, the Russian Revolutionaries made a demand for an industry which was controlled by workers and demanded peace. Russian workers endured horrific working conditions due to the capitalists' severe oppression of the workforce. Both international and domestic companies profited greatly in Russia at the expense of the workers. As a result, the workers strongly desired to run the business themselves. Furthermore, Russia withdrew from World War I shortly after the Czar's death because its citizens wanted peace.
