    Solution:

Mahatma Gandhi decided to participate in the Round Table Conference in London after the Gandhi-Irwin Pact.
The Gandhi-Irwin Pact was a political pact signed by Mahatma Gandhi and the then Viceroy of India, Lord Irwin, on March 5, 1931. As per the pact, Irwin agreed on:
The immediate release of all political prisoners who were not found guilty of violent crimes.
Compassionate treatment for resigned government employees.
The ability to manufacture salt in coastal communities for one's use only (not for sale).
The right to peaceful, nonviolent picketing.
            Removal of emergency regulations.
On the other hand, Gandhi agreed to call off the Civil Disobedience movement and participate in the Round Table Conference.
