Solution:The civil Obedience movement was related to Salt law. Gandhiji made 11 demands to the viceroy Irwin and gave him a deadline to accept these demands. Gandhiji also mentioned that if Irwin did not accept these demands, he would launch the Civil disobedience movement, breaking the Salt law. Gandhiji thought that if he launched a movement on the national level to abolish the salt law, it could unite the nation because salt was something essential consumed by rich and poor alike.
