Solution:
The Mongols invaded the Delhi Sultanate under the leadership of Alauddin Khilji. Alauddin Khalji, the ruler of the Delhi Sultanate, sent out an army under the command of Malik Kafur, assisted by other generals including Malik Tughluq, to halt the march of the invaders. Tens of thousands of the invaders were killed when the Delhi army won with ease. The captured Mongols were transported to Delhi, where they were either put to death or sold as slaves.
