Solution:
The pastoral community of Gaddi shepherds belongs to Himachal Pradesh. They travel by the seasons, spending the summers in Lahaul and Spiti and the winters in the lower Shivalik Hills. They move on to higher mountain meadows as they approach Lahaul in April after the snow on higher elevations has melted. They return to the lower regions in September, stopping short in Lahaul to harvest their summer harvests and sow seeds for the following winter. Then they move back to the lower Shivalik hills. They travel with their sheep and goats on the same schedule each year.
