Solution:Prashasti means eulogy.
During medieval India, many rulers emerged in various parts of the country. Since most of the rulers had unfriendly relations among them they tried to assert their influence over the vast regions of the kingdom. In this process, they installed many prashastis which had the praising words of the local ruler. The word prashasti is a Sanskrit word which explains the victorious warriors and valiant kings of the period. These prashastis were composed by trained and learned Brahmanas who also occasionally participated in the administrative process of the king.
