Solution:
The later Vedic Period saw a decline in the position of women. They were denied political rights and were barred from attending gatherings. Child marriage and polygamy became typical practises in the later Vedic era. The son was regarded as the family's best hope, while the daughter was regarded as the source of their discontent. It was also seized from women so that they might participate in religious ceremonies with their husbands. The aforementioned facts are mentioned in the Atharveda, Aitriya Brahmana, Manusmriti, and other later works of Vedic literature, among others.
