    Solution:

Mughals attacked the ahom kingdom in 1662. The Ahoms moved to the Brahmaputra valley in the 13th century from areas of modern-day Myanmar. As they conquered the strong kingdoms of the Chhutiyas (1523) and Koch-Hajo (1581) in the 16th century, they suppressed the ancient political structure of the bhuiyans (landlords), brought many tribes under their control, and created new states. Even in the 1530s, they used novel and sophisticated ammunition, such as firearms, and by the 1660s, they produced gunpowder and cannons. The Mughals finally destroyed the Ahom kingdoms in 1662 after numerous assaults from the southwestern regions of the Indian subcontinent, although they remained out of control for a very long period.
