The median of the given data is $x$ and it is given that the median is $18.$ Therefore,  Let $\overline{)X}$ be the mean. It is given that the mean deviation about mean is $7.6$ and mean is less than the median i.e.

and $\frac{\left(\overline{\overline{)X}}-4\right)+\left(\overline{\overline{)X}}-10\right)+\left(18-\overline{\overline{)X}}\right)+\left(y-\overline{\overline{)X}}\right)+\left(27-\overline{\overline{)X}}\right)}{5}=7.6$
