    Given a pair of liner equations: xy=2  and 3x+2y=16  . We need to find the value of x and y using substitution method.
    In substitution method, we substitute the value of one variable into another equation.

    We have,
    xy=2 y=x2  
    Substituting the value of y=x2   into equation 3x+2y=16  , we have,
    3x+2(x2)=16 3x+2x4=16 5x=20 x= 20 5 x=4  
    Substitute the value of x into equation xy=2  , we have,
    4y=2 y=24 y=2 y=2  
    Thus, the solution of system is x=4,y=2  .
