    Given pair of linear equations are:
    2x+y=8 x+1=2y  
    We need to find the value of x and y graphically and also find the coordinates of the points where the lines represented by the above equations meet the x -axis.
    We have,
    2x+y=8 y=82x...(i)  
    Now constructing value table based on equation (i), we have,
    Similarly, we have,
    x+1=2y y= x+1 2 ...(ii)  
    Now constructing value table based on equation (ii), we have,
    Now, based on these two tables, the graph constructed is:
    From the graph we can observe that both lines intersect at point (3,2).
    Therefore, the solution of the pair of equations is (3,2).
    Thus the value of x and y are 3 and 2.
    The lines represented by the above equations meet the x-axis at (-1, 0) and (4, 0).
    Therefore, option 3 is correct.
