    Given that, area of circle is equal to the sum of the areas of the two circles of radius 24cm and 7cm.
    Let the radius circle is r.
    Since we know that the area of circle is equal to π r 2  . Then we have,
    r 1 2 π+ r 2 2 π= r 2 π  
    r 2 π= (24) 2 π+ (7) 2 π  
     r 2 =576+49=625  
    r=25   cm
    2r=50   cm
    Thus, the diameter of the circle is 50 cm.
