    A system of linear equations a 1 x+ b 1 y+ c 1 =0   and a 2 x+ b 2 y+ c 2 =0   will have unique solutions when a 1 a 2 b 1 b 2  .
    Now from equations 4x+py+8=0   and 2x+2y+2=0  , we have,
