    According to Newton when two bodies interact then action is always equal and opposite to reaction so

    (i) Action and reaction act on different bodies

    (ii) Action and reaction have equal magnitudes

    (iii) Action and reaction have opposite directions

    (iv) There is no meaning of talking resultant of action and reaction because they act on different bodies. So resultant of action and reaction do not become zero. Both interacting bodies experience resultant force and gain acceleration.
