In sponges, the cells are arranged as loose cell aggregates (cellular level of organisation). Cnidarians exhibit tissue level of organisation. Both sponges and cnidarians exhibit indirect development. Sponges also reproduce sexually. Division of labour occurs among the cells in sponges also.
