The end of atrial systole is also the end of ventricular diastole as ventricular systole would start immediately. The end of atrial diastole is not the end of ventricular diastole. The ventricles continue to be in diastole for 0.1 sec more after the end of atrial diastole. The end of atrial diastole is not the end of ventricular systole. Atrial diastole ends just before atrial systole begins. At time ventricles are in diastole (not systole). The end of ventricular systole is not the end of atrial diastole. Atria continue to be in diastole during joint diastole also.
