For example, one species of frog may live during the day while another lives at night. Habitat isolation is when different species live in different habitats. For example, one species of frog may live in a pond while another lives in a tree.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Behavioral_Isolation\"><\/span>Behavioral Isolation<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Behavioral isolation is the process of preventing an animal from interacting with other members of its species. This can be done in a number of ways, including physically separating animals, placing them in different environments, or withholding social cues.
