For example, making paper from recycled materials emits up to 70% less air pollution than making paper from virgin materials.<\/p>\n<p>3. Conserving resources &#8211; Recycling uses less raw materials than creating products from scratch. For example, making aluminum cans from recycled aluminum uses 95% less energy than making new aluminum cans from scratch.<\/p>\n<p>4. Saving money &#8211; Recycling can save you money.
