The condition is often diagnosed in puppies and can be treated with medication or surgery.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Newlands_Octaves\"><\/span>Newland\u2019s Octaves<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Newland&#8217;s octaves are a set of eight musical intervals, each a perfect fifth (seven semitones) above the previous one.
