In general, short-term exposure to high levels of NiSO4 can cause respiratory problems, eye irritation, and skin rash. The results are shown in the graph below.<\/p>\n<p>As can be seen from the graph, the growth rate of E. coli was inhibited by the presence of nickel sulfate.
