Area of a shape is the amount of space it occupies.<\/p>\n<p>Perimeter of a rectangle is the sum of the length of its four sides. Area of a rectangle is the product of its length and width.<\/p>\n<p>Perimeter of a square is the sum of the length of its four sides. Area of a square is the product of its length and width.<\/p>\n<p>Perimeter of a triangle is the sum of the length of its three sides. Area of a triangle is one-third the product of its length and width.<\/p>\n<p>Perimeter of a circle is the circumference of the circle.
