A concave polygon is a polygon in which at least one interior angle is greater than 180°.

Simple and Complex Polygons

A polygon is a closed figure that is created by connecting a series of points in a line. A polygon can be a triangle, square, pentagon, hexagon, or any other shape that is created by connecting points. The degree of a polygon is the number of angles in the polygon. A triangle has three angles, so it has a degree of three. A square has four angles, so it has a degree of four. A pentagon has five angles, so it has a degree of five. And so on.

To find the degree of a polygon, you simply count the number of angles in the polygon. If you are having trouble counting the angles, you can use a protractor to help you. Once you have counted the angles, you simply divide 360 degrees by the number of angles to find the degree of the polygon. For example, if you have a pentagon with five angles, you would divide 360 degrees by 5 to find that the pentagon has a degree of 72 degrees.

It is also possible to find the measure of an individual angle in a polygon. To do this, you simply use the formula: degree of the angle = measure of the angle / 360. For example, if you have an angle with a measure of 45 degrees, you would divide 45 degrees by 360 to find that the angle has a degree of 0.125.

Degrees in Polygons: How to Find Them

In geometry, the degrees in a polygon are simply the number of angles in the polygon.
