They are fundamental rules about what people are allowed or owed according to a legal system, social norm, or ethical belief. Rights are essentially claims necessary for a life of respect and dignity. This concept of natural rights implies that no state or organization can infringe upon them. While the term &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/infinitylearn.com\/surge\/study-materials\/english\/essay\/human-rights-essay\/\"><strong>human rights<\/strong><\/a>&#8221; is now more common, reflecting a quest for a minimally good life, it builds on the idea of natural rights. This notion has empowered oppressed groups worldwide to challenge discriminatory laws and seek equality.
