Non-Cooperation Movement was started on 4th September 1920 by Mahatma Gandhi for getting full independence from the British Empire. The Indian National Congress withdrawal the support for the British Government after the Rowlatt Act of 21 March 1919 and the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre of 13th April 1919.<\/p>\n
People were really fed by the oppressive rule of the British Empire. They want to take some harsh political actions against the cruel Britishers. Gandhi and other leaders of Congress raise their voices against a complete boycott of British Rule.<\/p>\n
They stated that Tall organizations running under the East India Company should be completely banned. The schools, colleges, Government Institutes, Foreign Manufacturing units, Foreign goods, and other foreign things that are slowly obstructing India for its own governance. The word Swadeshi was coined during this period of protest.<\/p>\n
For shaking the roots of the British Government, there were many movements and protests that were taken. The actual idea of Non-Cooperation was discussed in the Nagpur Session. The British government was totally shocked by the millions of revolters.<\/p>\n
