Scientific and Cultural Organization) by Spain, following a request from the Spanish Academy of Radio Arts and Science, on 20th September 2010.<\/p>\n<p>On 3<sup>rd<\/sup> November 2011 the United Nations General Assembly made the proclamation of observing the World Radio Day annually on 13<sup>th<\/sup> February.<\/p>\n<p>The proclamation was made at the UNESCO\u2019s 36<sup>th<\/sup> General Conference at Paris, from 25<sup>th<\/sup> October to 10<sup>th<\/sup> November.<\/p>\n<p>The date for the observance i.e. 13<sup>th<\/sup> February was chosen because it was at the same date in 1946;
