Concerned about public safety the government has regulated the sale of crackers in market place. Now, crackers will be sold only in grounds designated by the district administration. Also the shops are expected to come up only a day before Deepawali (Diwali 2024), that is, <strong>31st October 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Dubai police band had played the tune of Indian National Anthem in an event at Dubai, ahead of Diwali. The video of the performance has gone viral on the internet, to the delight of millions of Indians. The city of Dubai celebrated Deepawali on <strong>31st October 2024<\/strong> with events like \u2013 bollywood dance performances, fireworks, diya lighting ceremony etc.<\/p>\n<p>Twitter, the famous social media platform, has launched some catch emojis ahead of Diwali. Anyone having a twitter account will be able to send emojis as Diwali wishes to family, friends and well wishers.<\/p>\n<p>There is some news for local manufacturers to cheer for \u2013 the Chinese share in Deepawali market has considerably reduced. If Delhi vendors are to be believed, the share of Chinese made lights and idols of Ganesha, Lakshmi, have dropped to 10% from last year\u2019s 80%.<\/p>\n<p>The Government of Delhi has organized a light and laser show at Connaught Place from October 26 to 29. The move is expected to dissuade people from bursting crackers. The Supreme Court had also passed an order this month that only green crackers can be used on National Capital Region (NCR).<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the national capital Delhi and other prominent cities have been put on red alert, expecting terror threats this festive season.<\/p>\n<p>Celebrating festivals and offering puja to Gods bring us from darkness to light, give power to us to do good endeavor and work and bring us much closer to the divinity. Lighting diyas and candle all around the houses enlighten the every corner. It is considered as the festival never completes without puja and exchanging gift to near and dear ones. People do puja at the evening of festival in order to get the divine blessings from God. Diwali festival brings the most beautiful and peaceful time of the year which offers the real joy of moment in the life of human beings.<\/p>\n<p>A national holiday is declared at the festival of Diwali so that everyone can enjoy the festival together with their friends and family. People wait for this festival from a long time and when it come closer they clean their houses, offices, rooms, garage, whitewashing, issue new checkbooks, diaries and calendars in offices. They believe that they will get peace and prosperity in their life by thorough cleaning and celebrating this festival. At some places in India Diwali Mela helds where people go and enjoy by buying new clothes, handicrafts, artworks, wall hangings, posters of Ganesha and Lakshmi, rangoli, jewelry and other needed things of their home.<\/p>\n<p>Children of the home are used of watching funny animation movie, visiting the zoo with their friends, sing Diwali poems, songs and aarti with their parents, blast fireworks at night, lit diyas and candles, give handmade Diwali greeting cards, play board games. Mothers at home make rangoli in the center of rooms, new and attractive sweets, prepare new recipes and dishes like Gujia, laddo, Gulab Jamun, Jalebi, Peda and many things.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"When_Diwali_is_Celebrated\"><\/span>When Diwali is Celebrated<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Diwali is celebrated at 13th lunar day of the Krishna paksha (also known as the dark fortnight) according to the Hindu calendar in the month of Ashwin. It is traditionally celebrated every year between the mid October and mid November, 18 days after the Dussehra festival. It is the most important festival of the year for the Hindu.<\/p>\n<p>Diwali celebrations comes every year with a lot of happiness and completes over five days from Dhanteras to Bhaiduj.
