All that we inculcate in our students is the spirit of sportsmanship and never give up spirit.<\/p>\n<p>On this note, I would like to share a quote from Jesse Owens \u2013 the great American athlete who bagged four gold medals in the Summer Olympics of 1936 held in Berlin, Germany  He made a great statement, which says, &#8220;Friendships born on the field of athletic strife are the real gold of competition  Awards become corroded, but friends gather no dust.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This is very much understood that each of you tries to showcase or exhibit your talent on the field, especially against your opponent from the competitor&#8217;s team. However, I will still encourage you, as always, to make the most of such opportunities to display the best of your aesthetic talent and the spirit of camaraderie.<\/p>\n<p>On this auspicious occasion, I would like to shower praise and congratulate the entire sports team of our school and their trainers for having worked rigorously on the fields. All our students and teaching staff look forward to such activities, including hurdle races, flat races, long jumps, high jumps, etc. Through activities such as these, we get to see the talent of our students and realize different strengths of our students as one student may be good at one particular sport, the other would be in something else, and a few would be all-rounders.<\/p>\n<p>We are proud that our school emphasizes the overall growth of the students \u2013 their physical as well as intellectual development. I hope we can lay a strong foundation for our students and see them perform well in all spheres of life.
