id=\"Connective_Tissue\"><\/span>Connective Tissue<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Connective tissues connect and provide support to different parts of the body, including organs and tissues.<\/li>\n<li>They encompass soft supporting tissues as well as specialized types like cartilage, bone, fat tissue, and blood.<\/li>\n<li>In all supporting tissues except blood, cells produce collagen or elastin fibers.<\/li>\n<li>These cells also release modified sugars that create a framework between cells and fibers.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting tissue can be classified into three forms: dense supporting tissue, specialized supporting tissue, and loose supporting tissue.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Muscle_Tissue\"><\/span>Muscle Tissue<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Muscle tissue is composed of small, elongated cells that together form muscles.<\/li>\n<li>Muscles are responsible for all body movements.<\/li>\n<li>There are three types of muscles: skeletal muscles for voluntary movements, smooth muscles for involuntary actions, and cardiac muscles for the heart.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span
